Obituary for William Sharpe
William Michael Sharpe, 55, of East Peoria passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 19, 1957 in Peoria to James C. and Mamie L. Tice Sharpe Sr. His father and brother, Ewell D. Sharpe preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother, Mamie Layne of Columbia, TN; sister, Sherry (Gary) Gregory of Washington; brothers, James C. (Jacqueline) Sharpe Jr. of Pekin, Thomas Ray (Debbie) Sharpe of Bradenton, FL, Anthony T. Sharpe of Columbia, TN and several nieces and nephews. William worked as a handyman. He enjoyed fishing and riding his bicycle. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by his family. Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous in his name.
