Obituary for William Trobaugh
William “Dale” Trobaugh 75, of Canton passed away on Friday July 9, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born in Kinderhook, IL on October 19, 1934 to Frank and Hazel Spires Trobaugh. He married Jane Bitner on December 30, 1976 in Lewistown. He is survived by his wife of Canton, son Tom (Connie) Trobaugh of Canton, daughter Dalelynn (Don) Holley of Peoria, son Kelly (Kay) Bitner, son Keith Bitner and Terry Bitner all of Canton, grandchildren: Mathew Bitner, Kyle Bitner Justin Gorsage, Stephanie Blue, Jesse Laswell, Kim Laswell, Jennifer McLouth, Jacob Bitner, Brad Bitner, Jeremy Holley, Sam Holley, Ben Holley, Pam Holley, Corrina Stufflebean, Tim Trobaugh and several great grandchildren. His parents, brother Frank Jr., sister Ruby Mullins and sons Randy and Dale Bitner preceded him in death. Dale worked at Caterpillar for 40 years, retiring in 1991. He was a true outdoorsman, fisherman and woodcraftsmen’s. Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
