Obituary for Wilma Kenyon
Wilma Kenyon, 91, of Peoria Heights passed away Saturday, October 19 at her residence. She was born to Lester and Alvina Tarrant in Cullom, Illinois. She married her High School sweetheart Francis Kenyon in 1940. He preceded her in death. Wilma is survived by three children, Janet Bohannan, Patricia Rehm, and Robert Kenyon. Several grand and great grand children also survive, along with one sister. While growing up Wilma was athletic, playing softball and basketball. She also enjoyed music, playing both the organ and piano. For many years she worked retail. For several years Wilma was dedicated to the care of her husband during his long term illness. She was steadfast in this effort. Per her wishes, Cremation rites will be accorded. A private burial service will be at a later date. Donations can be made to charities of the Donor’s choice.
