Robert E. Reginald, 85, of Lacon, IL passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 at St. Joseph Home in Lacon, IL. He was born April 13, 1928 in Henry, IL to Charles and Beulah Thielbar Reginald. He was preceded in death by his parents; step father, Henry Reginald; sister, Barbara Jenkins; brother, Jack Reginald and great-grandson, Joshua Buckley. He is survived by his spouse, Patricia Reginald of Sarasota, FL; children, Wayne Reginald of Sarasota, FL, Brenda (Tim) Nickel of Varna, IL, David (Cindi) Reginald of Chillicothe, IL, Mary Sue (Tim) Buckley of Venice, FL; brothers, Marvin Reginald of Sparland, IL, Russell Reginald of Sparland, IL; sister, Marjorie Conarro of Lacon, IL; grandchildren, Chrystal Reginald, Gregory Nickel, Sarah Hopkins, Nick Reginald, Katie Reginald, Jacob Buckley, Amy Buckley, Gary Buckley, Alex Buckley and great-grandchildren, Clinton Edward Burger III and Justin Paul Hopkins II. Robert served in the U.S. Marines in 1951 and was a member of the American Legion Post 593 for 59 years. He worked as an electrician for Wabco/Dresser retiring February 1, 1986. Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held at the Lacon Cemetery Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 2 p.m.
