Obituary for Carol A. Hoffman
Carol A. Hoffman 71, of Manito passed away on Monday November 3, 2008 at her home. Born in Peoria on October 30, 1937 to Raymond and Delia Hoenselaar Philipp. She married Don Hoffman on October 29, 1959 in Joliet, he survives along with sons Daniel (Rose) Hoffman of Germantown Hills, Mark (Cindy) Hoffman of Metamora, daughters; Theresa “Teri” (Dennis) Brooks of Bellevue, Angela “Rene” Kromphardt of Peoria, sister Becky (John) French of Auburn, CA and 12 grand and 6 great grandchildren. Her parents preceded her in death. She was a loving wife and mother and her family was her life. Carol was self-employed and work for Hoffman’s C&D Window Fashions and was of the Catholic faith. Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held. Memorials may be made in her name to the Hope Institute at 15 E. Hazel Dell Ln. Springfield, IL 62712. The Cremation Society of Mid-Iliinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements.
