Dolores T. Eaglen, 91, of Pekin, IL passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Mason City Area Nursing Home in Mason City, IL.
She was born June 29, 1929 in Danville, IL to Charles and Amelia Hack.
She married Robert E. Eaglen on February 5, 1949, and he preceded her in death on July 15, 2013.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bernice Harrington; and sister, Ruth Fagan.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Chuck) Grace, Sue (Mike) Childress, Janet (Chuck) Osterman, Marcie (David) Stuckel, Terri (Chris) Leech and Amy Fikri.
She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Alex Childress, Jaime Watrob, Sarah Osterman, Katey Grace, Emma Coyle, Natalie Wrobleski, and Taylor Fikri; step-grandchildren, Chip Grace, Justin Stuckel and Lee Stuckel; five great-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
Dolores was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Although she was a talented artist, she most enjoyed taking care of her home and the family whose needs she always put ahead of her own. She was a strong woman of faith, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin, IL.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, a private memorial Mass will be held for Dolores; cremated remains will be buried at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Mason City Area Nursing Home Activity Department or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
