Obituary for Yvonne Aisquith
Yvonne F. Aisquith, 75, of Peoria passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at her residence. She was born September 30, 1942 in Peoria to Fredrick and Annie Henderson Westhoff. She married Melvin J. Aisquith; he preceded her in death in 2011. Her parents and brother, James Westhoff also preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Wesley Westhoff, Maurice Aisquith, Melissa (Joseph) Greenwell; stepdaughter, Audrey M. Jarvis; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Rodney (Karen) Westhoff, Clairann (Nick) Nicklin, Joan Kuhn and many nieces and nephews. Yvonne attended Richwoods High School in Peoria and Keokuk Junior College in Keokuk, IA. She attended St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Peoria and St. Monica’s Catholic Church in East Peoria. She was involved with St. Vincent de Paul Society, Cursillo, Charismatic Movement, Feed the Poor, Red Hats and Bunco Buddies. She enjoyed praying for others, QVC and watching movies. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. with a visitation half hour prior at St. Monica’s Catholic Church 303 Campanile Dr., East Peoria, IL 61611. There will be a dinner following the mass. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to assist with arrangements.
