Obituary for Catherine J. Warning
Catherine J. Warning, 70, of Pekin, IL passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Carle Health Pekin.
She was born August 12, 1954, in Mokena, IL to Kenneth and Vera Culp Warning. Her parents and brother, Kenny Warning preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Wayne) Yuhan, Sarah (Rusty) Pusey, Elizabeth (Joe Springer) Rivera, Mary (Fernando Aponte) Rivera; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Catherine graduated from Lincoln-Way Central High School in New Lenox, IL and Joliet Junior College. She worked for Caterpillar.
She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mokena. Catherine was a lifelong seamstress and learner. She loved playing piano and participating in many charities. She was an excellent cook. Catherine always made everyone’s day better. She was a selfless woman. She loved her family very much and will be greatly missed.
Cremation has been accorded and a private family service will be held at a later date. She will be buried with her parents and brother in Mokena.
