Obituary for Patricia Elizabeth McClister
Patricia Elizabeth McClister, 85, of Green Valley passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at her son’s residence in Pekin surrounded by her family.
She was born on August 25, 1940, in Chicago to John and Ellen Mooney Leykauf.
Patricia married John Elvin McClister on September 2, 1958, in Miami, FL; he preceded her in death on October 14, 2008. Her father, John Leykauf; mother, Ellen Blumenstock; stepfather, Kenneth Blumenstock; daughter, Bonnie McClister Crandell and son-in-law, Donald Crandell Jr. also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Ronald McClister of Pekin, Michael (Gina) McClister of Pekin, John Douglas (Diana) McClister of Morton, Matthew (April) McClister of Pekin; fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Patricia worked for the Tazewell County Health Department until retiring May 17, 2001.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge 274 Derby Street, Pekin, IL 61554.
Memorials may be made to the Knights of Columbus Archbishop Schlarman Council 210 in Pekin or St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin in her name.
